Evan. Emmanuel Gyamfi
The president Evangelist Emmanuel Gyamfi is the Co Founder and President of Christ Evangelists Alliance International, Jesus word Alive Int Missions an interdenominational missionary ministry dedicated to evangelizing the lost, equipping believers, and exalting Jesus Christ.
Born into a humble family in Berekum a town in Ghana, Emmanuel lost his mother at the age of three. Growing up without the care and guidance of a mother, he experienced significant hardship. As a child, he struggled to understand why his mother had died while at a prayer camp, and this caused him to question the existence of God. Although he regularly attended Sunday School at The Church of Pentecost, his heart remained distant from God during his early years.
At the age of fifteen, his life changed dramatically through a supernatural encounter. In a dream, a glorious figure appeared and called his name three times. Overcome with fear, he tried to run, but the figure held him gently and said, “The Lord knows your name. If you will serve Him faithfully, He will use you to preach His Word to the nations.” This encounter awakened a deep love for God and planted within him a lifelong passion for ministry.
Determined to overcome poverty, Emmanuel worked in block manufacturing and construction while still a young man.
Through diligence and perseverance, he established his first business and, by the age of nineteen, was successfully operating two retail shops.
Despite this early business success, One day he had a dream and God directed him to move from everything to Accra.
Through diligence and perseverance, he established his first business and, by the age of nineteen, was successfully operating two retail shops. Despite this early business success, One day he had a dream and God directed him to move from everything to Accra.
In obedience to God’s leading, he relocated from his hometown to Accra and had the opportunity to serve in a local church, There, the Lord opened the door for him to receive missionary training with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Following his training, he was led into rural evangelism with a megaphone, and organizing outreach programs across northern Ghana and other underserved communities. Also he studied in Word of Faith Bible Institute, and has completed other Bible related courses. He became a full time pastor in 2013 because there was no fundings for the evangelistic missions.
On 1 September 2014, while seeking God in prayer and fasting, Emmanuel experienced another life changing encounter. Jesus appeared to him and said to him, “I am Jesus and my word is alive. Take my word to the people and preach me faithfully, and I will be alive by my word.” This encounter became the foundation of the ministry and he adopted the Name, Jesus Word Alive.
Like many young ministers, Emmanuel faced seasons of hardship and discouragement. In 2016, after years of ministry challenges, he resolved to leave full time ministry and return to secular work. However, on the very night he made that decision, the Lord spoke to him clearly in an audible voice, like a friend can hear his friend, saying, “Now rise up and revolutionize the world for Jesus by preaching My Word.” That divine encouragement renewed his strength and reaffirmed his calling to continue the work of the Gospel.
After serving in pastoral ministry for five years, God opened the door for Emmanuel to relocate to Canada. While preparing to launch evangelistic missions from there, he received another clear direction from the Lord to travel to Nigeria, where he spent seven months conducting evangelistic crusades and ministry activities. Upon returning to Canada, God instructed him to relocate permanently to Ghana. After settling in Accra for two years with his family, he was again led to move to Bekwai, Ashanti Region, where they have been serving since 2024 while launching evangelistic campaigns throughout Ghana and beyond.
Through this journey, God placed a fresh burden on his heart for the unity of evangelists. This vision led to the establishment of Christ Evangelists Alliance International, an interdenominational alliance created to unite evangelists, strengthen Gospel ministries, encourage accountability, and mobilize labourers for the end time harvest. The Alliance exists to provide a sustainable platform where evangelists can work together in unity to fulfil the Great Commission.
By God’s grace, Evangelist Emmanuel Gyamfi has preached the Gospel through large scale evangelistic campaigns and mission initiatives in Ghana and has partnered with ministry efforts that have reached nations including Nigeria, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, Mali, Togo, Benin, the Philippines, and other parts of the world. Through these outreaches, thousands have heard the Gospel, many have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, churches have been strengthened, and God has confirmed His Word through testimonies of salvation, healing, deliverance, and transformed lives.
Today, his passion remains unchanged, to see millions come to Christ, to strengthen the ministry of evangelists worldwide, and to equip the Church to fulfil the Great Commission through Biblical unity, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
